Ocenenie najlepších športovcov za rok 2011
Dňa 21.3.2012 v sobášnej miestnosti mestského úradu prebehlo vyhlásenie najúspešnejších športovcov KNM za rok 2011. Za účasti primátora mesta Jána Hartela, prednostu MÚ Ľubomíra Ježa, riaditeľa MKŠS Juraja Čierňavu, poslancov MsZ vedených predsedom kultúrno-športej komisie Marcelom Chládkom, boli udelené tieto ocenenia:
Nikola Štefundová - atletika. Dve druhé miesta na majstrovstvách Slovenska žiačok. V kategórii mladšie žiačky je držiteľkou najrýchlejších časov na 600m a na 800m. Reprezentovala Slovensko na medzištátnom stretnutí v Nitre na 600m.
Kategória junior:
Patrik Žubor – atletika. Má štyri tituly majstra SR, dve tretie miesta z majstrovstiev SR.
Medzi dorastencami držiteľ najlepších časov na Slovensku na 1500m, 3000m. Reprezentant Slovenska.
Peter Tichý ml. – atletika. Slovenský reprezentant v atletike – chôdza. Juniorsky majster Slovenska v chôdzi na 10km - limit na Majstrovstvá Európy Juniorov. 5.miesto na Majstrovstvách Slovenska mužov v chôdzi na 20km. 32.miesto na Európskom pohári v chôdzi - juniori 10km.
Kategória talent:
Michal Kučera - atletika. Tretie miesto na majstrovstvách Slovenska v cezpoľnom behu. V kategórii mladší žiaci je držiteľom najlepších výkonov na 300m a na 800m.
Kategória družstvo:
Mladší dorast - futbal. V sezóne 2010/2011 vyhrali III.ligu mladšieho dorastu stredoslovenského kraja.
Kategória tréner:
Mgr.Milan Slivka - atletika. Jeho zverenci získali v roku 2011 15 medailí na majstrovstvách Slovenskej republiky. Trénuje troch reprezentantov Slovenskej republiky a zároveň 4 najrýchlejších bežcov Slovenska: Juraj Vitko (3000m), Patrik Žúbor (1500m, 3000m), Nikola Štefundová (600m, 800m), Michal Kučera (300m, 800m). Ďalší úspešní medailisti z majstrovstiev SR: Alena Pochybová, Ján Klučiarik, Michal Kučera.

Ladislav Jánoška - cyklotriál. Reprezentant SR. 1.miesto Majstrovstvá sveta BIU junior, absolútny víťaz
scratch a priamy postup do svetovej TOP 15 ELITE, Majstrovstvá Európy 3.miesto junior, Európsky pohár EBU 1.miesto junior, Majstrovstvá Slovenska 2.miesto ELITE
Čestné uznanie:
Ing.Mária Jakubíková – turistika. Dlhoročná aktívna členka turistického oddielu. V roku 2011 sa zúčastnila na 62 turistických akciách, kde absolvovala 1.528 km. Bola ocenená čestným uznaním a strieborným odznakom od vedenia Klubu slovenských turistov v Bratislave. Tento rok oslávi aj významné životné jubileum. Srdečne gratulujeme.
