Víťazstvá našich bežcov
V závere roka sa bežci AK MŠK zúčastnili viacerých bežeckých podujatí. Na predvianočnom CyS behu 20.12.08 v Sade mieru v Žiline sa z víťazstiev tešili Miroslav Neslušan na 10km a Anton Kuba na 3km. V piatok 26.12.08 sa v Hôrkach konala Štefanská Hôrecká šestka. Žiacke kategórie bežali 900m. Medzi najmladšími dievčatami zvíťazila Nicolka Štefundová pred L.Michaličkovou (Cys Žilina) V.Krutákovou (Žilina). V behu starších žiakov zvíťazil Peter Podmanický pred Patrikom Štefundom, tretí dobehol J.Bučo (Cys Rajecké Teplice), štvrtý skončil ďalší bežec AK MŠK Matej Minarovič. V dobre obsadenej kategórii mužov zvíťazil víťaz Kysuckej desiatky Róbert Rolko (AŠKP Žilina), druhý dobehol víťaz Krasňanskej desiatky Juraj Vitko a tretie miesto obsadil víťaz Bežeckej ligy Žiliny Miroslav Neslušan. Ďalšie umiestnenia našich bežcov v 110 člennom štartovom poli: 23.Anton Kuba, 35.Peter Gajdoš (9.veterán nad 40 rokov), 37.Marek Čierňava (6.junior), 45.Vladimír Káčerík (8.veterán nad 50 rokov). Po dlhšom čase sa na štart postavila Alena Pochybová. Po peknom výkone zvíťazila pred A.Balošákovou a M.Bábelovou (obe ŠKP Snowparadise Čadca ). Na Silvestra sa naši bežci zúčastnili dvoch pretekov. Miroslav Neslušan dobehol vo Vrútkach na Silvestrovskom behu zdravia na 11,5km dlhej trati tretí (zvíťazil M.Vanko z Obal Servisu Košice, druhý dobehol M.Fedák zo ZŤS Martin). Na silvestrovskom Memoriáli Antona Jánošku v Lietave sme mali početnejšie zastúpenie. Naši žiaci mali v žiackej kategórii svoj posledný štart, v roku 2009 budú štartovať už medzi dorastencami. So žiackou kategóriou sa na 1km dlhej trati rozlúčili víťazstvami Iveta Lisková a Marek Baranec. Za Marekom dobehol na 2.mieste Matej Minarovič. Dorastenci bežali 3km. V tejto kategórii zvíťazil Peter Podmanický pred Marekom Čierňavom, pre ktorého to bol posledný štart medzi dorastencami (v r.2009 štartuje medzi juniormi). Dospelí bežali 10km. Alena Pochybová dobehla na 2.mieste za A.Balošákovou (ŠKP Snowparadise Čadca). Na 10km mužov sa odohral pekný súboj medzi R.Rolkom a J.Vitkom. Ešte pred obrátkou na štvrtom kilometri získal R.Rolko asi 50metrový náskok, ktorý v 2.polovici mierne zvýšil. V záverečnom kilometri sa Juraj priblížil R.Rolkovi o pár metrov, ale to nestačilo a Róbert Rolko zvíťazil s asi 10sekundovým náskokom. Jurajov dosiahnutý čas znamená takmer minútové zlepšenie osobného rekordu na 10km.
